Experience required
- Preferably at least 5 years of experience in a purchasing and planning function, preferably with biotechnology, plastics or biochemical background;
- Extensive experience as material – production planner in a complex manufacturing environment;
- Basic financial knowledge;
- Familiar with the Sales & Operations Planning process;
- Knowhow in process improvement methods;
- Familiar with setting up and execute planning and purchasing activities with MRP.
Education
Bachelor degree or equivalent by experience.
Supply Planner
The supply planner is responsible:
- To manage the inventory for both raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods;
- To translate demand plans into production and delivery plans and issue the required purchase and production orders;
- To support other teams to meet customer demand;
- To support the supply chain systems and tools (ERP, MRP, …).
Accountabilities
- Generates inventory purchase requisitions, sends purchase orders to suppliers, monitors the status of open PO’s, ensures and follows up on-time delivery, supports good reception, timely quality release and PO closure;
- Translates forecasts and requests from internal and external customers into production plans. Monitors and updates production plans when needed;
- Works together with the production manager to create an maintain the capacity plan;
- Set-up and maintains KPI’s. Reports on a regular basis to internal and external stakeholders;
- Works with production, engineering, suppliers on corrective/preventive actions to safeguard required productions and improve supply performance if needed;
- Continuously improve planning processes within supply chain;
- Provide input to and improves our S&OP process.
Profile requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent by experience;
- Preferably at least 5 years of experience in a purchasing and planning function, preferably with biotechnology, plastics or biochemical background;
- Extensive experience as material – production planner in a complex manufacturing environment;
- Basic financial knowledge;
- Familiar with the Sales & Operations Planning process;
- Knowhow in process improvement methods;
- Familiar with setting up and execute planning and purchasing activities with MRP;
- Knowledge of ISO13485 is a plus;
- PC skills: good knowledge Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Visio, Access) and knowledge in ERP systems (preferably AX Dynamics);
- Languages: fluency in Dutch and English is required; knowledge of any other European language is a plus;
- Customer centric; Problem solver;
- Good communication skills with internal & external partners.
