Country Sales Manager - France

The Country Sales Manager is to collect information about the local market and defining the market opportunities in the designated territory

The Country Sales Manager is responsible for public relations and collecting information in meetings or events for business development planning (limited to the tasks described hereinafter) with key decision owners, laboratory personnel and physicians in the targeted hospitals and laboratories.

Accountabilities

• Collecting information about market penetration opportunities in own territory and engage with Key Account Manager Managers, Molecular Diagnostics Specialists and Market Manager to meet common team goals;

• Provide competitive intelligence and analyze market trends and channel information back to headquarters;

• Monitor performance and inform properly to Biocartis;

• Develop a business plan for the territory;

• Develop Key Contact Plans to prepare market penetration. Elaborate contact records by using the Company CRM;

• Attend meetings and when required, organize and attend local exhibitions, solely for business development purposes, strictly limited to information gathering (without entering into a marketing process, nor informing clients directly or indirectly about products, nor negotiate or closing contracts with clients or potential clients);

• Managing, overseeing and balancing resources; makes sure that the team is equipped with strong people;

• Operate as the process owner of efficient and effective business processes of the respective team;

• Agent management;

• Cascading company objectives within the respective team.

Profile requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a scientific orientation or equivalent through experience and/or training.
  • Proven track record in defining market opportunities within or in related industry is a must
  • At least five (5) years of experience with business development planning and people management
  • Experience in working within the designated region is required.
  • Knowledge of the diagnostic market, preferably molecular diagnostics and/or pathology is required;
  • Broad understanding of work flow in pathology labs;
  • Experience in working independently with little direct supervision;
  • Capable of developing and executing business plan in assigned region;
  • Business oriented with strong business development skills;
  • Straightforward communication; able to engage healthcare professionals in meaningful dialogue to determine their needs and how our products can meet those needs;
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills combined with the ability to make an impact;
  • Self-starter, team player
  • Applied knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Applied knowledge of CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • Applied knowledge of Showpad
  • Knowledge of:
  • Tender signing regulations
  • CE IVD regulations
  • GDPR
  • Fluent in French + excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
