Steve Chatters has served as Biocartis’ Vice President of Regulatory & Clinical Affairs since 10 November 2025 and brings extensive visionary leadership in Regulatory & Clinical Affairs within the IVD industry to the table. Most recently, Mr. Chatters was the Executive Vice President, Regulatory, Medical, and Quality Affairs at Oxford Gene Technology (independently operated subsidiary of Sysmex) based in the UK. Prior to this, he was Principal Clinical Scientist at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Mr. Chatters holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Westminster as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Quality Management. Additionally, he has attained the Diploma of Royal College of Pathologists (DipRCPath) in Clinical Cytogenetics and is a UK State-Registered Clinical Scientist (HCPC).
